The neighborhood community of Downtown is located in the center of Wayzata between Lake Street and Wayzata Boulevard west of Superior Street. Downtown is an excellent neighborhood featuring easy access to a wide variety of shops and restaurants as well as beautiful scenery, overlooking Wayzata Bay. The neighborhood boasts 40 single family homes  featuring rambler, craftsman, and traditional housing styles and 30 townhome units. Single family homes in the neighborhood range from $350,000 to $2,500,000. Downtown is a terrific neighborhood with much to offer including great homes, family friendly community, and great location.

 

Downtown features excellent location within close proximity to some of the top amenities in Wayzata. Residents of Downtown are served by Independent School District 284 also known as Wayzata Public Schools. Wayzata PublicWayzata High School in Plymouth, Minnesota Schools serves over 11,000 students and is dedicated to providing an excellent education for all students. The closest school to Downtown is Wayzata West Middle School. Wayzata West serves over 700 students in 6th  through 8th grade and is dedicated to providing each student with an exceptional learning experience. Other schools in the area include Gleason Lake Elementary School, Birchview Elementary School, Wayzata High School, St Barts School, and The Blake School.
