The Jamestown neighborhood is located off of 6th Ave in north Orono. Jamestown is a luxurious neighborhood featuring mature trees, family-friendly community, and large lots. Residents of Jamestown are served by Independent School District 278 also known as Orono Public Schools. Orono Public Schools is a small and connected community with exceptional educational programs. One School in the area is Orono High School. At Orono High School dedicated teachers challenge students in grades 9-12 with rigorous academics. Other schools in the area include Schumann Elementary, Orono Intermediate School, and Orono Middle School.
