The neighborhood community of Lyman is located on the east side of Orono off of Orono Orchard Road just north of Woodhill Avenue. Lyman is a great neighborhood with much to offer including excellent homes for sale, family friendly community, and easy access to a wide range of amenities as well as several major highways. The neighborhood also features beautiful wooded scenery full of mature trees, providing residents with a secluded neighborhood atmosphere. The closest school to Lyman is Orono Intermediate School. Orono Intermediate School serves over 600 students in 3rd through 5th grade, offering an excellent academic Program designed to help students excel. Other school in the area include Schumann Elementary School, Orono Middle School, and Orono High School.
