The Parkside neighborhood lies on the eastern side of the City of Hopkins near the intersection of Baker Road and Excelsior Boulevard. Parkside is a younger neighborhood with two story ramblers that have garages on the first floor and living space above on the second level. The newer neighborhood contains a total of just over 50 homes. Homes for sale in Parkside range from $240,000 to $270,000 in price.

Parkside residents enjoy easy access to several of the city’s nearby shopping areas, such as the Knollwood Shopping Centre. The shopping area contains a TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Nordstrom, Cub Foods, Panera, Applebee’s, and several other stores. A Target can also be found to the west and a Sam’s Club to east across Louisiana Avenue. For recreational activities are primarily located on the west side of Hopkins in locations such as Central Park and Maetzold Field. Other amenities include Mann Hopkins Theatre, Interlachen Country Club, and Meadowbrook Golf Course.

Residents of Parkside are served by Independent School District 270 also known as Hopkins Public Schools. Hopkins Public Schools serves 7,200 students in Kindergarten through 12th grades offering an exceptional educational experience designed to help students excel. The closest school to Parkside is Eisenhower Elementary School. Eisenhower Elementary School serves 800 students in Kindergarten through 6th grade offering a rigorous academic program designed to help students succeed. Other schools in the area include LH Tanglen Elementary School, Alice Smith Elementary School, Hopkins West Junior High School, Hopkins High School, and Academy of Whole Learning.
