The neighborhood of Chevy Chase is located on the northeast side of Orono off of Ferndale Road just north of highway 12. Chevy Chase is a scenic neighborhood community on the east side of Wayzata Country Club, featuring scenic views and a beautiful wooded environment full of mature trees . The neighborhood boasts 40 single family homes featuring ranch, rambler, and traditional housing styles with prices ranging from $300,000 to $1,000,000. Chevy Chase is an excellent neighborhood with much to offer including great homes for sale, family friendly community, and excellent location.

Chevy Chase offers excellent location within close proximity to numerous amenities and several major highways. Although the city of Orono does not have any major shopping centers, residents of Chevy Chase have easy access to several shopping centers in surrounding communities. Some of these include Colonial Square in Wayzata and Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka, both located within 10 minutes of Chevy Chase. The neighborhood also has easy access to several recreational amenities including Wayzata Country Club, Orono Country Club, Wood-Rill Scientific and Natural Area, Wolsfeld Woods Scientific and Natural Area, and Norenberg Memorial County Park.

Residents of Chevy Chase are served by Independent School District 284 also known as Wayzata Public Schools. Wayzata Public Schools serves over 11,000 students and is dedicated to providing an excellent education for all students. The closest school to Chevy Chase is Wayzata West Middle School. Wayzata West serves over 700 students in 6th  through 8th grade and is dedicated to providing each student with an exceptional learning experience. Other schools in the area include Gleason Lake Elementary School, Birchview Elementary School, Wayzata High School, St Barts School, and The Blake School.
