Located on the west side of Plymouth off of highway 101 just south of County Road 6 is the community of Oakwood. Oakwood is an older community featuring older homes and a scenic wooded environment with mature trees. The neighborhood boasts 70 single family homes featuring ranch, rambler, and split level housing styles with prices ranging from $200,000 to $600,000. Oakwood is an excellent community with much to offer including great homes for sale, family friendly environment, and convenient location.

Oakwood is located within close proximity to some of the best amenities in Plymouth. Residents of the neighborhood have easy access to several shopping, dining, and recreational amenities including Hollydale Golf Course, Medina Golf and Country Club, Plymouth City Center, Parkers Lake Park,  French Regional Park, and Rockford Plaza. Residents of Oakwood are served by Independent School District 284 also known as Wayzata Public Schools. Wayzata Public Schools is an excellent school district dedicated to providing students with an exceptional education designed to inspire them and help them excel. The closest school to Oakwood is Greenwood Elementary School. Greenwood serves over 850 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade providing an excellent educational program designed to enrich each student’s learning experience. Other schools in the area include Plymouth Creek Elementary School, Central Middle School, Wayzata High School, West Lutheran High School, Providence Academy, and Fourth Baptist Christian School.
