The neighborhood community of Edgewood townhomes is located in central Wayzata off of Lake Street just east of Ferndale Road. Wayzata West serves over 700 students in 6th  through 8th grade and is dedicated to providing each student with an exceptional learning experience. Other schools in the area include Gleason Lake Elementary School, Birchview Elementary School, Wayzata High School, St Barts School, and The Blake School.
