The Boulder Ridge neighborhood is located on the northeast side of Plymouth off of Zachary Lane just south of Bass Lake Road. Cedar Island serves over 350 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade dedicated to providing students with an excellent educational experience. Other schools in the area include Oakview Elementary School, Maple Grove Middle School, Osseo Middle School, Osseo High School, Maranatha Christian Academy,  and Hennepin Technical College.
