Overview of the Spring Crest

Neighborhood


The Spring Crest neighborhood is located in southwest Minnetonka between Highway 101 and Vine Hill Road. Spring Crest is a well-established neighborhood with mature trees and spacious lots. There are around 80 single family homes in the neighborhood that are a mix of split levels and ranches. Homes for sale in the neighborhood have prices ranging from $300,000 to $400,000.

 

Spring Crest is close to several of Minnetonka’s finest amenities, including Purgatory Park which lies a couple miles to the east. The park has several recreational amenities such as trails, picnic areas, and picnic shelters. Another nearby amenity is Glen LakePark sign in Purgatory Park in Minnetonka, Minnesota Golf Course, which is open to the public, and is the perfect recreational course for any skill level with sand and grass bunkers, water hazards, and dramatic elevation changes. The nearest shopping and dining amenities can be found at Ridgedale Shopping Center, which lies a few miles to the north along 394 and contains popular stores such as Macy’s, Nordstrom, JCPenney, and Sears.

 

Residents of Spring Crest are served by Independent School District 276 also known as Minnetonka Public Schools. Minnetonka Public Minnetonka High School in Minnetonka, MinnesotaSchools serves seven different western suburbs of Minneapolis and approximately 8,000 students in grades K-12. The closest school to Spring Crest is Minnetonka High School, which serves around 3,000 students in grades 9-12. Minnetonka High School’s average classroom size is around 20 students and has been recognized as one of the Best High Schools in America by U.S. News, World Report, News Week, and Washington Report. Other nearby schools include Clear Springs, Scenic Heights Elementary, and Primrose School of Minnetonka.
