The Powderhorn neighborhood is situated on Powderhorn Drive off of Highway 101 at the intersection of Lake Street Extension in northwest Minnetonka. Powderhorn boasts approximately 30 homes, family-friendly community, and great location. Within the neighborhood, houses range in price from $300,000 to $500,000.

Powderhorn is within close proximity to some of the top amenities in Minnetonka. The community of Powderhorn is served by Independent School District 276. Minnetonka Public Schools is comprised of six elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. One excellent school in the district is Groveland Elementary. At Groveland dedicated teachers serve approximately 620 students in grades K-5. Other schools in the area include Minnetonka Middle School East, Minnetonka High School, Sleepy Tigers Chinese Immersion Preschool, and Minnetonka Christian Academy.
