The Fairview neighborhood is located on the west side of Orono off of Old Crystal Bay Road just south of Fox Street. Fairview features beautiful wooded scenery, full of mature trees, providing residents with a quiet and secluded neighborhood environment. Residents of the Fairview neighborhood are served by Independent School District 278 also known as Orono Public Schools. Orono Public Schools serves around 2,000 students in grades K-12. The closest school to Fairview is Orono Intermediate School. Orono Intermediate School serves over 630 students in 3rd through 5th grade, providing students with challenging academic program designed to help them excel. Other schools in the area include Schumann Elementary School, Orono Middle School, and Orono High School.
