The Old Rockford neighborhood is situated off of Old Rockford Road on 42nd Place and 42 Ave south of Rockford Road and west of Zachary Lane in northeastern Plymouth. Old Rockford boasts great homes, a family-friendly community, and easy-access to highway systems. Residents of Old Rockford are served by Independent School District 281 also known as Robbinsdale Public Schools. There are numerous schools within close proximity to Old Rockford with the closest being Zachary Lane Elementary School. Zachary Lane serves 560 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade with a student teacher ratio of 16.5. Zachary Lane provides an excellent educational program designed to enrich each student’s learning experience by fostering a strong partnership between students, teachers, and parents. Other schools in the area include Pilgrim Lane Elementary School, Zachary Lane Elementary School, Robbinsdale Armstrong High School, St. Raphael Catholic School, and The FAIR School.
