The Kingswood Terrace is a Minnetonka neighborhood located in the southwest area of the city. Kingswood Terrace is well-established neighborhood that is heavily wooded and offers plenty of space. The neighborhood consists of just under 20 single family homes. Homes for sale range between $325,000 to $670,000 in price. House styles in Kingswood Terrace are primarily a mix of ranches and traditional two stories.

Kingswood is close to several of Minnetonka’s finest amenities, including Purgatory Park which lies a couple miles to the east. The park has several recreational amenities such asPark sign in Purgatory Park in Minnetonka, Minnesota trails, picnic areas, and picnic shelters.  Another nearby amenity is Glen Lake Golf Course, which is open to the public, and is the perfect recreational course for any skill level with sand and grass bunkers, water hazards, and dramatic elevation changes. The nearest shopping center is Ridgedale Shopping Center, which lies a few miles to the north along 394 and contains popular stores such as Macy’s, Nordstrom, JCPenney, and Sears.

 

Residents of Kingswood are served by the Minnetonka School District. The Minnetonka School District serves 10,400 students in 14 different schools. The closest school to Kingswood Terrace is Minnetonka High School, which serves around 3,000 students in grades 9-12. Minnetonka High School’s average classroom size is around 20 students and has been recognized as one of the Best High Schools in America by U.S. News, World Report, News Week, and Washington Report. Other nearby schools include Clear Springs, Scenic Heights Elementary, and Primrose School of Minnetonka.
