Located on the northwest side of Plymouth off of Schmidt Lake Road just west of Vicksburg Lane is the community of Nanterre. Nanterre is a scenic neighborhood community situated on the northeast side of Hollydale Golf Course featuring wooded scenery and a quiet neighborhood atmosphere. The closest school to Nanterre is Providence Academy. Providence serves around 800 students in grades K-12. There are over 100 faculty and staff, 60% of which holds a  master’s degrees and 8% a PhD. Other schools in the area include Kimberly Lane Elementary School, Central Middle School, Wayzata High School, and West Lutheran High School.
