The neighborhood community of Deer Ridge is located on the north side of Chanhassen off of Yosemite Avenue just north of Lake Lucy Road and east of Galpin Boulevard. Deer Ridge is an older community featuring great homes and family friendly community. Deer Ridge offers great location within close proximity to numerous amenities within Chanhassen. Minnewashta Elementary serves over 700 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade with a student teacher ratio of 14.9. Other school in the area include Excelsior Elementary School, Minnetonka Middle School West, Minnetonka High School, and Chanhassen High School.
