The neighborhood community of South Shores is located on the northeast side of Waconia off of E Main Street just north of highway 5. The closest school to South Shores is Southview Elementary School. Southview Elementary School serves 650 students in Kindergarten through 4th grade offering an excellent educational program designed to help students foster a lifelong desire to learn. Other schools in the area include Bayview Elementary School, Waconia Middle, Waconia High School, and St Joseph’s Catholic School.
