Red Cherry is a Minnetonka neighborhood located in the southwest side of the city near the intersection of Highway 101 and Covington Road. Red Cherry consists of both single family homes and townhomes with affordable pricing. Townhomes range between $200,000 to $270,000 and single family homes for sale range between $260,000 to $380,000. Single family house styles are primarily ramblers.

Red Cherry is close to several of Minnetonka’s finest amenities, including Purgatory Park which lies a couple miles to the east. The park has several recreational amenities such as trails, picnic areas, and picnic shelters.  Another nearby amenity is Glen Lake Golf Course, which is open to the public, and is the perfect recreational course for any skill level with sand and grass bunkers, water hazards, and dramatic elevation changes. The nearest shopping and dining amenities can be found at Ridgedale Shopping Center, which lies a few miles to the north along 394 and contains popular stores such as Macy’s, Nordstrom, JCPenney, and Sears.

Residents of Red Cherry are served by Independent School District 276 also known as Minnetonka Public Schools. Minnetonka Public Schools serves seven different western suburbs of Minneapolis and approximately 8,000 students in grades K-12. The closest school to Red Cherry is Clear Springs Elementary School. Clear Springs serves around 800 single family homes with a student/teacher ratio of 15. Other nearby schools include Minnetonka High School, Scenic Heights Elementary, and Primrose School of Minnetonka.
