Tanglewood is a neighborhood in north Orono situated off of 6th Ave N. The Tanglewood community features beautiful homes, mature trees, and great location. Independent School District 278, also known as Orono Public Schools, serves the community of Tanglewood. Orono Public Schools is a small and connected community with exceptional educational programs. One School in the area is Orono High School. At Orono High School dedicated teachers challenge students in grades 9-12 with rigorous academics. Other schools in the area include Schumann Elementary, Orono Intermediate School, and Orono Middle School.
