The neighborhood of Lake Girard is located in West Bloomington northeast of the intersection of 90th Street and France Avenue. The neighborhood is situated around Lake Girard featuring a beautiful scenic environment and quiet neighborhood atmosphere. Bloomington Public Schools is one of the top school districts in the Twin Cities earing state and national recognitions. One of the closest schools to Lake Girard is Hillcrest Elementary School. Hillcrest Elementary is an excellent school serving 416 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Other schools in the area include Olsen Elementary and Middle School, Thomas Jefferson High School, and Normandale Community College.
