Lake Bavaria is located near the northwest corner in the city of Chaska, Minnesota which is in Carver County. It was named by the first settlers of the area after the German state of Bavaria. This lake is surrounded with beautiful hardwoods and homes. This lake is 166 acres in size and is approximately 66 feet deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Black Bullhead, Bluegill, Brown Bullhead, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, White Crappie, Yellow Bullhead and Yellow Perch. The Northern and Largemouth average size are larger than most lakes. There is one state owned public access boat launch on the lake.
