The city of Greenfield is a small, rural city located northwest of the Twin Cities metro. A member of the Hennepin County, Greenfield is home to close to 3,000 residents. The city is 21.55 square miles in size, providing ample open space for the city’s residents. While the city does not offer much in the realm of commercial development, there are several lakes located throughout the city. Lake Sarah is the city’s largest lake and also a center for community events. It provides aquatic recreational activities during the warmer months, and ice fishing in the winter.

Minneapolis is 30 miles southeast of Greenfield, and within driving distance for residents to experience the amenities of the big city.
