Located in between the Twin Cities, Lauderdale, Minnesota, offers the perfect mix between a big and small town atmosphere. Established in 1871, and incorporated in 1949, Lauderdale was named after William Henry Lauderdale, who was an important Twin Cities businessman who donated land to Rose Hill Township. The city of Lauderdale is served by the Roseville Area School District, which contains excellent private and public schools. The city has a total land area of 0.42 square miles. Minnesota Highway 280 serves as one of the main routes in the community, as it connects Lauderdale to the rest of the Metro area. This small suburb has much to offer, but its main attraction would easily be its peaceful environment in the midst of its larger neighboring cities.
