This antique caboose has been repainted by the historical society and the interior is currently being refurbished. New Brighton is also home to a VFW, a chapter of a League of Women Voters, a co-op Rotary Club with Mounds View, and much more. It is worth noting that there are organizations dedicated to organizing and running Stockyard Days and New London to New Brighton Antique Car Run. This allows residents to have a great say in the fan-favorite events throughout the year.
