Amber Point is located in southern Waconia between Highway 10 and 10th Street. This newly constructed neighborhood consists of 80 single family homes ranging between $270,000 to $400,000 in price. Homes in Amber Point are primarily two story ramblers and craftsmans. The closest school to the neighborhood is Southview Elementary School. Southview serves around 650 students in grades K-4, with a student/teacher ratio of 18. The school excels in producing proficient scores math and reading. Other nearby schools include Waconian Middle School, St John’s Catholic School, and Waconia High School.
