The neighborhood community of Dickenson is located on the southeast side of Orono off of Shoreline Drive just east of Orono Orchard Road. Dickenson is an older neighborhood community featuring older homes for sale, family friendly environment, and great location. The neighborhood also offers beautiful wooded scenery full of mature trees, providing residents with a quiet and secluded neighborhood atmosphere. The closest school to Dickenson is Orono Intermediate School. Orono Intermediate School serves over 600 students in 3rd through 5th grade, offering an excellent academic Program designed to help students excel. Other school in the area include Schumann Elementary School, Orono Middle School, and Orono High School.
