Auburn Lake in Victoria is 291 acres in size and is approximately 84 feet deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Black Bullhead, Bluegill, Brown Bullhead, Green Sunfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, Walleye, Yellow Bullhead and Yellow Perch.  Lake Auburn has a state record largemouth bass caughtin October 2005 weighing in at 8 pounds, 15 ounces and was 23.5 inches in length!

There is a boat launch is on the north side via Three Rivers Park. It looks like it’s actually two lakes, but they are connected. The West lake is referred to as the lower lake and the East side is the upper lake. You can see Lake Auburn from Hwy. 5 and along County Road 11 heading north from Hwy. 5.

For an authentic camping experience, try the Lake Auburn campground at Carver Park Reserve.  The Lake Auburn campground nestles up against the lake, which offers miles of biking and hiking trails, an archery range, a play area, nature center, picnic areas, boat access, watercraft rentals and more.

It has 55 drive-in sites and 2 hike-in sites. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring with pit latrines (wheelchair accessible) and drinking fountains nearby; no showers or electricity. Each site accommodates two tents or one tent and one RV, with a maximum of six people. Site 57 accommodates up to 8 people. There is also an RV dump station.
