Stonegate is located in southwest Minnetonka between Gaywood and Highway 7. The majority of homes for sale in Stonegate are ranch and split level style homes that range between $300,000 to $950,000. There are 150 single family homes in this larger neighborhood that are situated on fairly spacious lots with mature trees.

Stonegate is close to several of Minnetonka’s finest amenities, such as Kinsel Park. Kinsel Park features recreational amenities such as picnic shelters, trails, and boardwalks. Residents of Stonegate are served by Independent School District 276 also known as Minnetonka Public Schools. The Minnetonka School District serves 10,400 students in 14 different schools. The closest school to Stonegate is Glen Lake Elementary. Glen Lake serves around 470 students with a student/teacher ratio of 15. Other nearby schools include Minnetonka High School, Scenic Heights Elementary, Minnetonka Middle School East, and Primrose School of Minnetonka.
