The City of East Bethel, Minnesota is spread out over around 47 square miles of land, 3 square miles of which is water. Bonde Park: Located on the west side of the city, Bonde Park provides families with several outdoor amenities for entertainment and recreational use. John E. Anderson Memorial Park: Also located in western East Bethel, Anderson Memorial is situated on the small but beautiful Cooper Lake. Residents can enjoy a leisurely stroll on the banks of the lake or picnic on the grassy fields of the park. Grills, benches, restrooms, and a pavilion are all located on the park grounds. During the summer, visitors can soak in the sun on the beach or cool-off with a swim in Cooper Lake.
Booster Park: Booster Park is a hub for athletic activities in East Bethel. The park contains 4 irrigated baseball fields and 2 soccer fields that are used by the youth baseball and soccer leagues of the city. A concessions building with restrooms and a pavilion are also located in Booster Park. Another feature of the park is its skatepark and large playground, perfect for child entertainment. Other amenities include a walking trail, tennis courts, a warming house, horseshoe pits, and a basketball court.
Norseland Manor Park: This community park has plenty of amenities to offer to residents of East Bethel, including a large playground with several pieces of playground equipment like rocking toys, slides, spinners, and a 5-seat swingset. A baseball field, benches, and picnic areas are also available for use.
Coon Lake Beach Park: Coon Lake Beach County Park is situated on 125 acres of land around Coon Lake. Coon Lake is the largest lake in East Bethel and offers a wide variety of recreational activities to experience. Anglers will find an abundance of walleye, northern pike, and possibly even bass in Coon Lake. The lake is also a popular destination for boating, canoeing, kayaking, and swimming during the summer. The beach itself is large with a volleyball court and benches. A pavilion and playground are also located in Coon Lake Beach Park. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy hiking and walking on the park’s extensive trail system.
