Portland Terrace is a neighborhood of the City of Richfield that is located between 70th Street and East 73rd Street. The neighborhood is made up of around 400 single family homes that range between $200,000 to $300,000 in price. House styles are primarily a mix of cottages and and ramblers. Portland Terrace has much to offer residents including great homes for sale, family friendly community, and central location.

 

Portland Terrace is located within close proximity to several of the city’s finest shopping, dining, and recreational amenities. TheAugsburg Park sign in Richfield, Minnesota closest park to the established neighborhood is Augsburg Park, which sits on 21 acres of land. Amenities within the park for recreational use include walking paths, tennis courts, playground, and hockey rinks. The closest shopping center to Portland Terrace is Richfield Hub and West Shopping Center. Popular shops and restaurants in the center include Foot Locker, Marshalls, Michaels, Walgreens, Firehouse Subs, and My Burger. Additional activities located nearby that are available to residents include Lifetime Fitness and Concerts in the Park.

 

Independent School District 280, also known as Richfield Public Schools, serves the education needs for the City of Richfield. TheRichfield High School in Richfield, Minnesota closest school to the Portland Terrace neighborhood is Richfield High School. The school serves approximately 1,100 students and has a student/teacher ratio of 17.3. Richfield High School has been selected as National School of Excellence and is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. Around sixty percent of the school’s teachers hold Master’s Degrees or better. Other schools in the surrounding area include the Academy of Holy Angels and Centennial Elementary School.
