The Wood Knoll neighborhood is located on Wood Knoll Lane and Tonkawood Drive just east of Tonkawood Road in northwest Minnetonka. Wood Knoll boasts great homes, mature trees, and a family-friendly community. Homes for sale in the neighborhood have prices ranging from $300,000 to $900,000.

 

Wood Knoll is within close proximity to some of the best amenities in Minnetonka. Residents of the neighborhood have easy access to a wide variety of recreational, shopping, and dining options, including Jidana Park, Grays Bay, Purgatory Park, Big Purgatory Park Bridge in Minnetonka, MinnesotaWillow Park, Glen Lake Golf Course, Minnehaven Square, Westwind Plaza, and Colonial Square. Jidana is a great park offering trails, a picnic area, and canoe landing. Big Willow is a 95-acre community park offering beautiful scenery of Minnehaha Creek, extensive walking trails, play area, open spaces, and sports fields. Purgatory is the largest community park in Minnetonka with extensive trails and open spaces. Glen Lake Golf Course is a 9-hole recreational-length course for golfers of all skill levels. Minnehaven Square, Westwind Plaza, and Colonial Square boast some of the top shopping and dining options in the area.

 

Independent School District 270 serves the community of Wood Knoll. Hopkins Public Schools serves about 7,200 students in grades K-12. Within the district, there are six elementary schools, two junior high schools, and one high school. One great school Eisenhower Elementary School Sign in Hopkins, Minnesotain ISD 270 is Hopkins High School. At Hopkins High School students in grades 10-12 are served by dedicated teachers who are committed to helping high schoolers succeed. Other schools in the area include Glen Lake Elementary, Gatewood Elementary, Hopkins West Junior High, and Mainstreet School of Performing Arts, and the Blake School.
