One of the newest developments in the City of Waconia is Interlaken Woods, which is located near the intersection of Highway 10 and Sparrow Road. This new development will feature 59 cul-de-sac single family homes. House styles in Interlaken Woods will primarily be two story craftsman style homes. The neighborhood itself is situated on rolling green hills in a quiet area of the city. Interlaken Woods is an excellent enighborhood with much to offer including great homes for sale, family friendly community, and easy access to some of the best amenities in Waconia.

Residents can enjoy spending time at Interlaken Park within the neighborhood itself. The park consists of a grassy space and playground. Interlaken Woods offers a great location to some of the nicest parks in the area, including Lake Waconia Regional Park. Lake Waconia Regional Park is located on the southern edge of the Lake Waconia and has a wide variety of recreational amenities including a swimming beach, picnic shelter, playground, picnic tables, and volleyball courts. Some of the closest restaurants to Interlaken Woods include Caribou Coffee, Domino’s Pizza, D’Vinci’s Restaurant, and Subway.  

Interlaken Woods is served by Independent School District 110, also known as Waconia Public Schools, which serves 3,900 students from 5 different cities and 9 townships. The closest school to the neighborhood is Southview Elementary School. Southview serves around 650 students in grades K-4, with a student/teacher ratio of 18. The school excels in producing proficient scores in math and reading. Other nearby schools include Waconia Middle School, St John’s Catholic School, and Waconia High School.
