In addition to the longstanding history that is linked to its shores, Lake Minnetonka is home to community favorites like the Steamboat Minnehaha, and the nearby Wayzata Yacht Club. The Minnehaha is operated and run by the Museum of Lake Minnetonka and it offers tours of the lake as well as afternoon cruises to the public. Because many businesses in the surrounding area have waterfront access, residents can opt to travel in their boat to different locations as opposed to driving.

With 9 holes, elevated greens, and a family-friendly atmosphere, the Orono Public Golf Course is a great community location.
