Summit Bluffs is a neighborhood of West Bloomington that is located near the southern banks of the Minnesota River along 110th Street. Summit Bluffs consists of just under 100 single family homes that range between $400,000 to $700,000 in price. House styles are primarily two story ramblers. The neighborhood itself is known for its mature trees and spacious lot sizes. Summit Bluffs is an excellent neighborhood featuring great homes for sale, family friendly community, and central location.
Residents of Summit Bluffs enjoy close proximity to several of the city’s finest shopping, dining, and recreational amenities, including Dred Scott Park. Located right next door to the west, the park houses some of the finest amenities in the area such as baseball cages and a mini golf course. Football and soccer fields and baseball diamonds are also located in the park. Another popular destination in the area is the Minnesota River to the south, which offers a variety of activities and priceless views. The closest shopping center to Summit Bluffs is located just a few miles to the north at the intersection of Old Shakopee and Bloomington Ferry Road. Some of the shops include Burger King, Scoops Ice Cream, Dominos, and West Side Perk.
Summit Bluffs is a part of Bloomington Public School District, which has served the entire City of Bloomington since 1917. The closest school to the Summit Bluffs neighborhood is Bethany Academy, which serves students in grades K-12. Bethany educates from a Christian worldview while providing small class sizes and nurturing strong friendships among students. Other nearby schools include Normandale Hills Elementary, Bethany Academy, and Olson Elementary and Middle School.
