The Texa Tonka neighborhood community is located in the center of St. Louis Park in Ward 3. Texa Tonka is bordered by The Burlington Railroad to the north, Minnetonka Boulevard to the south, Louisiana Avenue to the east, and Virginia Avenue to the west. Texa Tonka is home to 868 housing units including 382 single-family homes, 32 duplexes, 10 townhomes, 75 condominiums, and 369 apartment units. The average year built for single-family homes in the area is 1952 with the majority being built between 1951 and 1954. Texa Tonka is comprised of 180.8 acres with 20 residential blocks and a population of nearly 2,000.

B Earl Ainsworth Park: B Earl Ainsworth Park is located just south of Cedar Knoll Park offering several outdoor activities. The Park features playground equipment, basketball court, and open space. B Earl Ainsworth park is the perfect place for kids to let out some energy.
Texa Tonka Park: Texa Tonka Park is situated on Victoria Lake offering numerous outdoor and recreational activities. Texa Tonka Park features playground equipment, picnic area, soccer field, and access to the Cedar Lake Trail system. Texa Tonka Park is an excellent place to enjoy the beauty surrounding the area.
