Manor Neighborhood

The neighborhood community of Cedar Manor is located on the east side of St. Louis Park in the 4th Ward. The community is bordered by West 22nd Street to the north, Burlington Northern Railroad to the south, Highway 169 to the west, and Cedar Lake Road to the east. Cedar Manor is comprised of mainly single-family homes covering a total area of 327.7 acres which is approximately 26 residential blocks. Cedar Manor is home to 575 single family homes with the average year built for each home in 1956. Cedar Manor is an excellent community plenty of entertainment and recreational options.

Although Cedar Manor does not have an abundance of events and entertainment options within the neighborhood, residents have easy access to plenty of amenities within nearby communities. Residents of Cedar Manor can find all their shopping dining, and entertainment needs at the nearby Shops at Knollwood and The Shops at West End. The Shops at Knollwood are only a 6-minute drive from Cedar Manor offering numerous shops, local restaurants, and entertainment options. The Shops at West End are only 9 minutes from Cedar Manor offering upscale options for all residents shopping, dining, and entertainment needs.

Cedar Manor is home to one park and Golf Club offering numerous ways for residents to enjoy the great outdoors.

Cedar Manor Park: Cedar Manor Park is located on the west side of the neighborhood offering several outdoor activities for all residents to enjoy. Cedar Manor Park features playground equipment, amphitheater, observations deck, soccer field, and lacrosse field. Cedar Manor Park is an excellent place to go and enjoy the beautiful scenery within the neighborhood.

Minneapolis Golf Club: Minneapolis Golf Club is a beautifully maintained 18-hole course offering a difficult challenge while still offering plenty of fun. MGC offers a perfect blend of a modern course and a classic course. Minneapolis Golf Club has an excellent reputation as one of the premier private golf clubs in Minnesota and has a rich historical past. MGC was designed by legendary golf course architect Willie Park in 1916. Minneapolis Golf Club has hosted numerous golf legends including Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player.
