Bronx Park is a neighborhood located in Ward 1 of St. Louis Park and covers 33 blocks. Bronx Park is bordered by Minnetonka Boulevard to the north, Burlington Northern Railroad to the south, Louisiana Avenue to the west, and the CP Railroad to the east. Bronx Park offers nearly 1,000 single-family homes with a population over 2,300 residents. Bronx Park neighborhood was subdivided around 1912 although the majority of homes in Bronx Park weren’t constructed until after World War II. The average year built for homes in Bronx Park is 1947.
Bronx Park is a small close-knit community offering numerous events and activities for all residents to enjoy. One event that is loved by locals is the Annual Neighborhood Picnic. This free family-friendly picnic brings the community together while offering great food. The picnic features hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, and kosher dogs along with numerous condiments and drinks. Other fun activities include the moonwalk for kids and face painting.
