The neighborhood of Wedgewood is located on the west side of Shorewood off of Smithtown Road just east of Eureka Road. Wedgewood is a small dead end community, providing residents with a quiet and secluded neighborhood atmosphere. The neighborhood consists of 55 single family homes featuring rambler, ranch, and split level housing styles with prices ranging from $300,000 to $450,000.

Wedgewood offers great location within close proximity to numerous amenities. Residents of the neighborhood have easy access to a wide variety of shopping, dining, and recreational amenities including Downtown Excelsior, Excelsior Commons, Paradise Charter Cruises, Old Log Theatre, Freeman Park, and Shorewood Village Shopping Center. The closest school to Wedgewood is Minnewashta Elementary School. Minnewashta Elementary serves 840 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade with a student teacher ratio of 14.9. Minnewashta Elementary seeks to provide an excellent educational program designed to help each student excel. Other schools in the area include Deephaven Elementary School, Minnetonka Middle School West, and Minnetonka High School.
