Overview of the Meadowview

Neighborhood


Meadowview is a Shorewood neighborhood located on the western side of the city off of Eureka Road. Mayview is an average-sized neighborhood that is made up of 60 single family homes that range between $270,000 to $400,000. The neighborhood itself is heavily wooded and the majority of homes have spacious yards.

 

The Meadowview neighborhood offers an excellent, central location within Shorewood. For recreational amenities, residents canTrail in Shorewood, Minnesota enjoy Lake Minnewashta to the southwest which has a wide variety of amenities such as volleyball courts, a beach and swimming area, picnic shelters, trails for walking and cross-country skiing, and a playground. Also located nearby to the north is Downtown excelsior, where residents can go for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Popular destinations include Excelsior Brewing Company, Maynards, Museum of Lake Minnetonka, and the Excelsior Library. Residents can also enjoy a tour of the lake on from the Paradise Charter Cruises and Minneapolis Queen.

 

Residents of Meadowview are served by Independent School District 276 also known as Minnetonka Public Schools. The Minnewashta Elementary School in Chanhassen, MinnesotaMinnetonka School District serves 10,400 students in 14 different schools.The closest school to the Meadowview is Minnewashta Elementary. Minnewashta serves 840 students in grades K-5, with a student/teacher ratio of 14.9. Other schools in the area include Excelsior Elementary, Minnetonka Middle School West, and Minnewashta Elementary.
