The neighborhood community of Blue Ridge is located on the west side of Shorewood off of Smithtown Road just west of Howards Point Road. Minnewashta Elementary seeks to provide an excellent educational program designed to help each student excel. Other schools in the area include Deephaven Elementary School, Minnetonka Middle School West, and Minnetonka High School.
