Riverside is a neighborhood of East Bloomington that is situated southeast of the intersection of 102nd Street and Nicollet Avenue. The neighborhood is comprised of around 100 single family homes that are a mix of ranches, and single and two story ramblers. Prices for homes in Riverside range between $250,000 to $500,000.

The nearest amenity available to residents of Riverside is Gene Kelly Playfields, which is situated just north of the neighborhood. The park has numerous recreational amenities including baseball fields, soccer fields, a hockey rink, and tennis courts. Other nearby parks include Soltvedt Memorial Beach and Mound Springs Park. The nearest school to the Riverside neighborhood is Kennedy High School. Kennedy High School serves 1,500 students and has a student/teacher ratio of 18.5. The school has an excellent teaching staff, with 72% of its teachers maintaining Master’s Degrees. Other schools in the area include Indian Mounds Elementary and Oak Grove Middle School.
