Ridge Neighborhood

Located in Eden Prairie east of Dell Road and south of Hidden Ponds Park is the Ridge neighborhood. The Ridge consists of around 70 single family homes. Homes for sale range from $345,000 to $570,000 in price. The majority of houses in the spacious neighborhood are rambler style homes situated on lots with mature trees.

Residents in this family friendly neighborhood have easy access to numerous recreational activities in the surrounding area, including Hidden Ponds Park. Hidden Ponds, which lies just a few miles to the north offers a variety of recreational amenities including a basketball court, baseball field, hiking trail, playground, tennis court, and picnic shelter. Other nearby parks include Rice Marsh Lake Park to the south and Eden Brook Conservation Area to the north.

Residents of The Ridge can find all their shopping, grocery, dining, and entertainment needs at the Eden Prairie Center, which is located a few miles to the east in Eden Prairie. Popular stores include Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Costco, and the mall itself which is home to a wide variety of shopping options. In addition, AMC Theatre is also located in the mall.

Residents of the neighborhood are served by Independent School District 272 also known as Eden Prairie Public Schools. Eden Prairie Schools seeks to provide students with a rigorous academic program while fostering a lifelong desire to learn. One of the closest schools to The Ridge is Cedar Ridge Elementary School. Cedar Ridge serves 750 students in Kindergarten through 6th grade with a student teacher ratio of 16.5. Other schools in the area include Oak Point Elementary School, Central Middle School, Eden Prairie High School, and Hennepin Technical College.
