Richfield, Minnesota has a population of 36,000 residents who live within seven square miles of neighborhoods, parks, and shopping. The city is a member of the Hennepin County area. Because of its location, the city is mainly residential and commercial, and the neighboring cities of Minneapolis and Bloomington add to this development.

downtown Minneapolis, Richfield still contains a small town charm. As a first-ring suburb, Minneapolis is just 15 minutes to the North. Interstates 35W and 494, as well as Minnesota State Highways 62 and 77 are four of the main routes in the city.
