The Purgatory Park neighborhood is located in southwest Minnetonka southeast of the intersection of Highway 101 and Old Excelsior Boulevard. Purgatory Pakr consists of around 30 single family homes that range from $350,000 to $530,000. Home for sale in the Purgatory neighborhood consist of a mix of traditional two story, ranch, and split level housing styles.

The enighborhood is close to several of Minnetonka’s finest amenities, including Purgatory Park which lies just across Highway 101 to the east. The park has several recreational amenities such as trails, picnic areas, and picnic shelters.  Another nearby amenity is Glen Lake Golf Course, which is open to the public, and is the perfect recreational course for any skill level with sand and grass bunkers, water hazards, and dramatic elevation changes. The nearest shopping center is Ridgedale Shopping Center, which lies a few miles to the north along 394 and contains popular stores such as Macy’s, Nordstrom, JCPenney, and Sears.

Residents of Purgatory Park are served by the Minnetonka School District. The Minnetonka School District serves 10,400 students in 14 different schools. The closest school to Purgatory is Minnetonka High School, which serves around 3,000 students in grades 9-12. Minnetonka High School’s average classroom size is around 20 students and has been recognized as one of the Best High Schools in America by U.S. News, World Report, News Week, and Washington Report. Other nearby schools include Clear Springs, Scenic Heights Elementary, and Primrose School of Minnetonka.
