Prior Lake, Minnesota is a member of the Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools District. Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools provide an outstanding education to students in grades K-12. Prior Lake High School was named one of the best high schools in America by Newsweek Magazine based on its excellent staff accomplishments along with its Advanced-Placement and college-level courses. Additionally, The Washington Post awarded PLHS one of America’s Most Challenging High Schools in the nation, placing the school in the top 10 percent. The school has outstanding programs that consist of both athletics as well as arts, and they integrate technology inside every classroom.
