Oxboro is a historic neighborhood is located within the Wrights Lake community in eastern Bloomington. Oxboro is situated west of Cedar Avenue, north of 90th street, and south of 86th street, between 12th avenue and Portland. Within the neighborhood, single family houses range in price from $150,000 to $300,000.

 

Residents of Oxboro have easy access to top-notch shopping, dining, and recreational amenities throughout the city of Normandale Lake Park in Bloomington, MinnesotaBloomington. This neighborhood is within close proximity to a variety of opportunities for all ages including Mall of America, Valley View Playfields, Minnesota River, Mounds Spring Park, Hyland Park Reserve, Normandale Lake Park, and Oxboro Library. Mall of America is the biggest mall in America and within 3 miles of the neighborhood. Opened in 1992, Mall of America is a top destination leading in retail, entertainment, and attractions. Mounds Spring Park is an 151 acre park along the Minnesota River. Built in 1975, Oxboro Library was the second free-standing library in Bloomington.

 

Independent School District 271, also known as Bloomington Public Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MinnesotaSchools, serves residents of the Oxboro neighborhood. Bloomington Public Schools is a top-notch school district with nearly 20 schools. One school within close proximity to this neighborhood is Valley View Elementary. The aim of Valley View Elementary is to educate students to be principled and inquire lifelong learners who have integrity. Other schools in the area include Indian Mounds Elementary, Valley View Middle School, Kennedy High School, as well as Normandale Community College.
