The Thoroughbred neighborhood is located in central Orono off of Willow Drive just south of Watertown Road. Thoroughbred is an excellent neighborhood with much to offer including great homes for sale, family friendly community, and great location. The closest school to Thoroughbred is Orono Intermediate School. Orono Intermediate School serves over 600 students in 3rd through 5th grade, offering an excellent academic Program designed to help students excel. Other school in the area include Schumann Elementary School, Orono Middle School, and Orono High School.
