Long Lake Shores is located on the north side of Orono off of 6th Avenue just east of Brown Road. The closest school to Long Lake Shores is Orono Middle School. Orono Middle School serves over 680 students in 6th through 8th grade, offering an excellent academic Program designed to help students excel. Other school in the area include Schumann Elementary School, Orono Intermediate School, and Orono High School.
