Neighborhood

The Livingston neighborhood is located in downtown Orono between Blaine Avenue and Shadywood Road. Livingston is composed of around 100 single family homes that range between $100,000 to $340,000 in price. The majority of homes in the downtown area are a mix of ranches, ramblers, and cottages. Livingston is an excellent neighborhood with much to offer including great homes for sale, family friendly community, and easy access to some of the best amenities in the area.

Because of its location on the southern end of the city, residents of Dunwoody have easy access to numerous amenities in the surrounding area. Within the downtown area itself, several shops and restaurants can be found such as Dairy Queen, Culver’s, and Lunds & Byerlys. The neighborhood is also located near several lakes and bays, which provide an endless amount of recreational amenities and entertainment. Noerenberg Memorial County Park, which is renowned as one of the finest garden in the state, is within a short drive to the north.

Residents of the Livingston neighborhood are served by Independent School District 278 also known as Orono Public Schools. Orono Public Schools serves around 2,000 students in grades K-12. The closest school to Livingston is Orono Intermediate School. Orono Intermediate School serves over 630 students in 3rd through 5th grade, providing students with challenging academic program designed to help them excel. Other schools in the area include Schumann Elementary School, Orono Middle School, and Orono High School.
