The neighborhood of Hollander is located on the northeast side of Orono off of 6th Avenue just west of Ferndale Road. Hollander is a scenic wooded community featuring a secluded setting, providing residents with a rural atmosphere while still being in close proximity to city amenities. The neighborhood boasts 20 single family homes featuring rambler and traditional housing styles with prices ranging from $550,000 to $2,500,000. Hollander is an excellent neighborhood with much to offer including great homes for sale, family friendly community, and rural setting.

Hollander features great location within close proximity to numerous amenities and several major highways. Although the city of Orono does not have any major shopping centers, residents of Hollander have easy access to a wide range of  shopping and dining amenities in surrounding communities. Several amenities include Colonial Square in Wayzata, Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka, and Plymouth City Center. Hollander is also within close proximity to several recreational amenities including Wayzata Country Club, Orono Country, Wolsfeld Woods Scientific and Natural Area, Wood Rill Scientific and Natural Area, and Norenberg Memorial County Park.

Residents of Hollander are served by Independent School District 284 also known as Wayzata Public Schools. Wayzata Public Schools serves over 11,000 students and is dedicated to providing an excellent education for all students. The closest school to Hollander is Wayzata West Middle School. Wayzata West serves over 700 students in 6th  through 8th grade and is dedicated to providing each student with an exceptional learning experience. Other schools in the area include Gleason Lake Elementary School, Birchview Elementary School, Wayzata High School, St Barts School, and The Blake School.
