The Lake Rose neighborhood is located in southwest Minnetonka between Eden Prairie Road and Scenic Heights Drive. This large neighborhood consists of around 400 single family houses, with homes for sale ranging between $250,000 and $550,000. House styles in Lake Rose are a mix of ranches and two story traditionals.

Lake Rose is close to several of Minnetonka’s finest amenities, including Purgatory Park which lies a couple miles to the west. The park has several recreational amenities such as trails, picnic areas, and picnic shelters.  Another nearby amenity is Glen Lake Golf Course, which is open to the public, and is the perfect recreational course for any skill level with sand and grass bunkers, water hazards, and dramatic elevation changes. The nearest shopping center is Ridgedale Shopping Center, which lies a few miles to the north along 394 and contains popular stores such as Macy’s, Nordstrom, JCPenney, and Sears.

Residents of Lake Rose are served by the Hopkins School District. The Hopkins School District serves seven different western suburbs of Minneapolis and approximately 8,000 students in grades K-12. The closest school to Glendale is Gatewood Elementary School, which lies a couple miles to the north. The school serves around 500 students and a student/teacher ratio of 14, serving students in grades K-6. Other nearby schools include Hopkins Montessori School, International School, Notre Dame Academy, and Glen Lake Elementary School.
